Manuscripts should be double-spaced on 8.5" x 11" paper. Authors should use footnotes in their manuscripts. Citation style must follow The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (17th ed. 2000), copyright by the Columbia Law Review Association, The Harvard Law Review Association, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and the Yale Law Journal. Authors will be responsible for ensuring that accepted manuscripts follow Bluebook style.

There are no page- or word-length requirements for manuscripts. The first page of each manuscript should include the article's title, but no authorship information. An accompanying cover page shoudl include the title, author(s), address(es) and phone number(s). Manuscripts should be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 125 words. Authors of accepted manuscripts will be asked to submit a 3.5" diskette which contains the manuscript and abstract. Authors will be responsible for obtaining necessary copyright permissions for reprinted materials.

Communication Law and Policy will accept only manuscripts which have not been submitted to other journals for review and which have not been published or scheduled for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts will be reviewed by selected members of the editorial board and other readers. Manuscripts will not be returned to authors.
