We need your financial support. While big gifts are great, ongoing annual gifts of any size demonstrate your recognition of the value of your degree and your desire to see the Department of Communication at Virginia Tech thrive. Please designate your annual gifts to the Department of Communication.
If you wish to make a major gift, please call our College development officer, Tysus Jackson (tysusj@vt.edu or 540-231-7724). She can work with you to designate your gift or to develop a long-term plan for giving to Virginia Tech.

| Sharing Your Professional Experience |
Each of you has tremendous knowledge and experience to share with our students. We're always looking for new internships and externships and connections for employment.
If you are willing to sponsor an internship, please send specifics to Geraldine Hollandworth (gholland@vt.edu). She'll post the information for our students.
We also are looking for externship sponsors. An externship is a "shadow" program. A student would observe you at work for a few days during a break between semesters. You can sign up through career services at: http://www.career.vt.edu/Externship/Welcome.htm
You can also sign up to be a Career Link mentor at http://www.career.vt.edu/. Click on Career Link and sign up to network with current Hokies.
