Oct. 4, 2012 – Assistant Professor Jenn Burleson Mackay presented a paper entitled “The ideological manipulation of journalistic ethics: A twisted technological tale” at a journalism ethics conference at the University of Oxford.
The paper discussed the role that culture and technology play in influencing journalistic ethical issues and decisions.
The conference entitled “Journalism Ethics: Individual, institutional or cultural?” was sponsored by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. Scholars from around the world presented research related to the state of journalism ethics.
